Shivagange
It is a mountain peak which is in the height of 2640.3 feet which is located near Dobbaspet, in Bangaluru Rural district India. The river Kumudvathi has its origin in the Sivagange hills which is a tributary of river Arkavati.
Nandi Hills
There are many stories about the origin of the name of Nandi Hills and the hill is 4851 ft above the sea level in Chikkaballapur district, Karnataka. It is a popular weekend getaway and the ancient hill which is famous for trekking. The place got its name from the stunning statue of Nandi which is the front door entrance of the temple. The morning sunrise from the mountain is very beautiful.
Bheemeshwari
It is one of the beautiful places where green mountains meet the giant clouds and its a small town Mandya district. This is a perfect destination for corporate team outings. Even this is one of the trekking places near Bangalore which you will feel the enchanting charm of Bheemeshwari and its surroundings.
Balmuri and Edmuri Waterfalls
These waterfalls are very small which gained large popularity among the tourist place in Mysore and it is in the distance of 3 km from Mysore. Edmuri falls is about 500 feet east of Balmuri falls which is a perfect spot for swimming and for playing water games. Â There are many places of movie songs shooting was done. Sometimes you have to be very cautious as there are slippery stones in the water and there are places where the water is very deep.
Mysore
It is one of the districts of Karnataka state and it served as a capital city for nearly 6 centuries from 1399 until 1956. It is a place for heritage structures and palaces including the Mysore palace. Dasara festival in Mysore will be celebrated very grandly. You can also visit the temple which is in the hilltop Goddess Chamundeshwari and also the Brindavan garden.
Shivanasamudra
This is a small city in the Mandya district and situated on the banks of river Kaveri and it is a first hydro-electric power station in Asia which is set up in the year 1902. The Kaveri river splits into two segments which are formed as a waterfall known as Gaganachukki and Barachukki.
